Screw Ab Ripper X
My new goal isn't even to lose weight. I want to get to a point that I can do ANYTHING on the damn ab ripper DVD. (ok I did a couple of things, but I didn't do them for very long) After I am sitting there feeling defeated when I look up and realize that the very in shape people on the DVD are sweating and huffing, I didn't feel so bad for only doing 1/4 of what they did. And tonight, it hurts to cough.
NO PAIN NO GAIN
I enjoyed the Shoulder & Arms workout. Not that I was working out like them, but I was able to do a lot more than the other days.
Tomorrow is Yoga X, and from what I hear from my cousin...it's nickname would be Yoga Hell. I am more than a little scared, but I am far from giving up.

ReplyDeletetoday was my 4th or 5th time doing the abs (can't remember). i was the same way as you on day one and today i felt so proud of myself!!
with the yoga, as you're pushing through it and cursing tony horton, just remember that the exercises change about half way through (around the 45 minute mark) and get way more manageable!
i also find myself watching them not being able to make it and i feel better! on yoga, during the second half (it's a lot of balance stuff), tony falls out more than a few times. if he can barely do it, then i'm not doin too bad!
