Day 13 means we are entering the 2nd week
of the 2nd phase. Nothing changes, but the book says our metabolism
should be adjusting to our new way of eating. Let's hope that means dropping on the scale, and inches...
We completely cleaned out the 10 year olds room today.
Not sure if he is a hoarder or just lazy, but it took us over 5 hours
and several trash bags. Future reference for anyone giving him gifts, NO
MORE LEGOS!
I did 30 min on the elliptical, 10 on the wii, and cleaning that room has to count for SOMETHING.
I got a little emotional this
morning, thinking about why losing this weight was so important to me. I
have a supportive inner circle, so why do I care so much? A lot of it
is just feeling more comfortable, but the other is a huge psychological
matter. When your self esteem is crushed a time or two (or ten) it
takes a lot to think highly of your self again. It takes 10 "you're
beautiful" 's to erase 1 negative word or hurtful action. I want to feel confident about
myself again.
BREAKFAST
2 scrambled eggs with asparagus, and yellow peppers
1/2 tbs of ff cheddar cheese
3 pcs of low fat bacon
SNACK
oat bran muffin
LUNCH
left over chicken
sauteed (tsp of veg oil rubbed on skillet) zucchini, squash, and asparagus
DINNER
lettuce tacos
DESSERT
oat bran muffin
